Farewell MoMo

Our dear Morgan is moving back up North after her stint in LA.  I am so proud of her and she has trudged through a forest in this program and has made it through to the other side.  There is nothing I can say to express how dear we, "the Gouldies" as she calls us, have held this time we have had with her down here. We will miss her so deeply.  I think Cheyenne will always have a special place for MoMo though since she was here in those early years.   

To celebrate this journey and it's graduation to the next step (whatever that may be), the family traveled down for a couple of days.  We toasted our sweet Morgan over Margaritas and Tacos at Lula's in Santa Monica and then spent the next day on It's a Small World and Space Mountain.

Disneyland

Here are some pictures from Cheyenne's first trip to the "Happiest Place on Earth"
We thought she would love the Nemo Submarine Ride - but the result was just her hugging tightly around our necks saying "All done bubbles, all done water"
The hit was the Winnie the Pooh ride - she went on it 5 times in a row and kept asking for more and more.
It was a different trip than I have ever remembered - one seen through new eyes.

Farewell Alex

 

It has been a pleasure and an honor to have been friends with these warm spirits!  I feel so happy for their adventure as a family and I believe that it a brave and exciting turn that their journey is taking... and... I am so sad for our daily loss, our consistent interaction.  There is a ache that I feel that only happens with the feeling of missing something.  They really have become family to us and definitely to Cheyenne.  We hope that we stay in touch and Cheyenne will continue to, in many years to come,  benefit from all of the love they give.  We are all better people because of you, Alex, and your beautiful family.
