New Words:
Cheyenne has new words every single day. She has been putting 2 & 3 words together to form sentences. There really isn't anything she can't convey when she needs to. She surprises us several times per day with new words that she has picked up. She loves talking about what animals are doing - "Bird fly up" or "ant... oh a-yo-yo (another one) ant walk." She also does a grand job of ordering us around - "Mama sit" or "Dadda get book."
Food:
Food:
She still is a little bird when it comes to food. She likes Mac&Cheese and pears probably best - but even her favorites get pushed away often. Needless to say, a lot of entertaining and trickery occurs around dinner time.

Teeth:
Full mouth of teeth for sure! We keep thinking she is getting her big girl molars, but I think we aren't quite there yet.
Recently...
Well recently Cheyenne has been quite a little lover. Hugs and Kisses for us and Strider and all of her stuffed animals. She is very independent, wants to put on her own shoes, use the fork and spoon herself and walk everywhere. She is quite serious with new people but warms up over a time. She doesn't give smiles for free, but it is golden when you get one. That being said, she is very content and very seldom grumpy or sad. She laughs when playing all by herself or sometimes just staring out the window. It is like she is remembering something so funny and just can't help herself from chuckling. She is learning to give Strider some personal space, but you can see that it is everything she can do to not go and hug and chase him

Teeth:
I finally finished my Invisalign treatment - it actually went really quickly, it was about 6-7 months of 12 trays and it is amazing how different my teeth look now. I am really in awe of how fast they were able to completely straighten things out. I am really glad that I went through with it.
Food:
We have to resist from having take out Indian Food every night... Chris cooked an awesome Cajun Pasta for me for Valentines day this year and we have been getting good use out of our Panini maker. We also can't get enough coconut - coffee, truffles, muffins - I think it makes us think of our wedding.
Work:
Chris loves going to work and has created a team and a system that makes every day pretty streamlined. He has worked very hard to get to this point, but he has reached a place that he can maintain good business and only get his hands dirty when he needs to. He comes home every day with funny stories and interesting dilemmas that he dealt with. We are hoping that he will be able to work from home every so often this summer.
I am coming down to the last quarter of school before summertime. I cannot believe how fast this year has gone. I didn't even get the March blues like I always do. I just blinked and we were already past spring break. Part time teaching has been amazing - had the cake and ate it proudly. Next year it's back to full time, but hopefully not for long. It is looking like we are going to consolidate our Avid classes next year which will leave me without an Avid class for the first time in 6 years. I am still getting used to the idea of this possible loss, but I really think it may open some doors for other challenges and adventures in teaching. And there is a very probable chance that I will take on another Avid group an another year or two.

We have cherished the weekends that we just to do regular stuff. It just seems like our week is so full and it is so nice when the weekend gets here and there isn't anything that we have to do. Cheyenne is the entertainer in our world these days. We can just watch her for hours and be content. We have been working on each of us getting some time to work out on our new treadmill and that has been great - both enjoyable and good for the figure. We're getting excited for our rhythm to change when summertime hits. It gets busy and sleepless in a whole different way but in other ways is just perfectly relaxing.
