Trying to find a place to look out into the distance these days. The weeds are thick and the grass is tall and most of the time I feel so small and it is hard to catch sight of any sort of distance. I feel like a mouse in the tundra, not so much a hawk in the sky.
The answers are in the horizons, in the vastness, on the overlooks and on the edges looking out. The answers are in the distance. I am in the grasslands, the caves, the holes and the thickness of the forest. I keep thinking I will turn a corner into the open or climb high enough to a lookout. But, not yet. I believe in this distance and I know it is waiting for me. I am traveling towards it or around it or underneath it. It exists this moment. I just can't see it. Yet.
Yet...
