
January has felt like a heavy fog with shades of grey and dust. The actual rain has been welcome and there were days that did not bear such weight, but it has been a time of shallow breathing and cautious steps.
This morning has felt like a few rays like fingers have peeked through.
The air still feels cold, heavy and still, and I wouldn't call these rays a sign of warmth or beauty or even necessarily hope, but it has let in some color.
It is a crack in the lid that was keeping the pressure in and the clarity out.
Be it small, it is significant
