Easter Bunny

Easter morning we took Cheyenne to the window and asked if she saw the Easter Bunny.

She looked and looked and frowned and seemed confused that there was nothing on the patio unusual. We told her that he must still be sleeping or got caught in traffic.  Periodically throughout the morning, we would go check and look and look, each time to no avail.  After lunch Cheyenne went for her nap and this is when the Bunny came to work his magic.  When she woke up, we rushed her right to the window again... and lo and behold...

Mr. Bunny had arrived.

Griffith Park and Gamma Airplane

Cheyenne has been obsessed with airplanes since Gamma G came to visit.  We thought for a while that she thought Gamma's name was airplane!
It was a great weekend.  We didn't pack it full like we normally do, and that was quite a pleasant and refreshing way to spend a weekend with a visitor.  It was so nice to sit and have coffee and relax without feeling like we had to speed out for the next event.
The big adventure that we did attempt was Griffith Park Observatory.  It was beautiful. Truly.
